Open your cabinet and look behind the knob you have now. If one screw holds it on, this fits. Unscrew the old knob and screw this one in. The screw comes in the box.

About

I’m Owen. On a road trip during covid, I deeply wanted to replace the gear shifter in my Prius with a model of my head.

That got me thinking about my grandfather’s animal-topped walking sticks, folk art, and eventually the tragedy of the ikea-fication of interior design.

I got inspired to a return of ornamentation by putting people's faces on their cabinet knobs.

Then I spent five years talking about it on dates and at dinner parties.

HeadKnobs is where I’m starting. Over time, I’d like to bring other artists into it and make more things for the home.

Q1.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Upload your photo and we’ll create a 3D model you can spin around and inspect. You only pay when you decide to order.
Q2.
What kind of photo should I use?
A clear, well-lit photo with the whole face visible. Avoid sunglasses, heavy shadows, and anything covering the face. This applies to your dog too.
Q3.
How are these made?
Each head is 3D printed, then metal plated for a satin-nickel finish. We make it to order from your model.
Q4.
How long will my order take?
Each piece is custom made. Please allow 2–4 weeks from ordering to arrival.
Q5.
Can I return it?
Every piece is made just for you, so we can’t take it back if you change your mind. That’s why you get to spin your 3D model before you pay. If yours arrives damaged or defective, email owen@headknobs.com with a photo and we’ll remake it or refund you. If something just seems off, write anyway. We’ll figure it out together.
Q6.
Will it fit my cabinet?
Our knobs mount through a single hole in your cabinet door or drawer. Hardware is included. To check fit, email us a photo and your cabinet thickness before ordering.
